Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 26, 2026 · Last updated: July 26, 2026

Summit Construction & Exteriors LLC ("Summit Construction," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through summitconstructionla.com (the "Site"), why we collect it, how it's used and protected, and the choices and rights you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information in two ways: information you give us directly, and information collected automatically when you visit the Site.

Information you provide to us

When you request a free inspection, ask for a quote, or contact us through a form on the Site, we may collect:

  • Contact details: your name, phone number, email address, and property address
  • Project details: the type of service you need (repair, replacement, storm damage, commercial, etc.), your roof's approximate age and type, whether the work involves an insurance claim, and any details you choose to share about your property
  • Communications: anything you tell us by phone, text, email, or through a Site form

Providing this information is voluntary, but we need at least your name and a way to reach you (phone or email) to respond to a quote or inspection request.

Information collected automatically

When you browse the Site, our hosting, security, and analytics tools automatically collect certain technical information, including:

  • IP address and approximate location
  • Browser type, device type, and operating system
  • Pages visited, time spent on the Site, and referring/exit pages
  • Standard web server log data

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to quote requests, schedule inspections, and provide the roofing and exterior services you request
  • Communicate with you about an active or prospective project, including by phone, text, or email
  • Prepare estimates, work with your insurance adjuster when you've asked us to, and complete billing
  • Maintain, secure, and improve the Site, including diagnosing technical issues and preventing fraud or abuse
  • Understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve its content and performance
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements

We do not use the information you submit for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not sell your personal information to data brokers.

3. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. The Site uses cookies and similar technologies (such as pixels and local storage) to:

  • Remember your preferences and keep the Site functioning correctly
  • Understand aggregate traffic patterns through analytics tools
  • Support spam and bot protection on our forms

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the Site function, but you can still browse and contact us by phone.

4. Third-Party Services We Use

We use a small number of trusted third-party services to operate the Site, protect it from spam and security threats, and understand how it's used. Each of these providers processes data under its own privacy policy, linked below.

6. Phone Calls & Text Messages

If you submit a quote request, contact form, or otherwise provide your phone number, you agree that Summit Construction & Exteriors may contact you by phone or text message about your inquiry or project, including using an autodialer or pre-recorded messages where applicable. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to be contacted is not a condition of purchasing any service. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, or ask to be placed on our do-not-call list by telling us directly by phone or email.

7. Data Retention

We keep quote requests, project records, and related communications for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, maintain accurate business and warranty records, and comply with legal, tax, and insurance requirements. Technical and analytics data collected automatically is generally retained according to each third-party provider's standard retention settings.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect your information, including a web application firewall, security monitoring, and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you have reason to believe your interaction with the Site is no longer secure, please contact us immediately.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Request confirmation of, and access to, the personal information we hold about you
  • Request that we correct inaccurate information
  • Request that we delete your personal information, subject to legal, contractual, or legitimate business exceptions (such as active warranty or project records)
  • Opt out of marketing communications at any time

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in the Contact Us section below. We'll respond within a reasonable timeframe and may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.

10. Additional Notice for California Residents

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended, may give you additional rights over the personal information we collect. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we have not sold personal information in the preceding 12 months. California residents may exercise the rights described in Section 9 by contacting us as described below.

11. Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for general audiences and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

12. Do Not Track Signals

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) setting. Because there is no common industry standard for how to respond to DNT signals, the Site does not currently change its behavior in response to browser DNT signals.

The Site may link to third-party websites, including manufacturer, licensing, and insurance-related resources (such as the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors or FORTIFIED Home). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third-party sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
